The Church of the Holy Spirit is located in the Dartmouth region of the Anglican Diocese of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. We are on the corner of Gaston Road and Regency Drive in the Southdale district.
Parking is available in front of and behind the church. The church is easily accessible; there are no steps except for those that lead to the altar. There is a wheelchair-accessible pew for those who need it and their families. There is side access to the altar rail (no steps) or the sacrament can be brought to those in the pews. The hall is located on the lower level. There is a mechanical lift available for those with mobility issues. There are wheelchair-accessible washrooms on both levels.
For those traveling by public transit, Metro Transit Bus # 66 stops directly next to the church.
Sunday School
Our Sunday School program is for children between the ages of five and 12. Sunday School is at 10 a.m. Sunday service three Sundays per month. On the remaining Sundays, we encourage families to spend together in the church. Our Christian Education program runs from September through May. One of the main focuses of our Sunday School program is community outreach. With the support of the congregation, the Sunday school has helped many organizations, including Bryony House, World Wildlife Fund, the Nova Scotia Hospital, and our local SPCA shelter.

Environment
We have completed several renovations to go green. In recent years we have redone the roof and insulation. Our windows and lights are energy-efficient, and we have transitioned to natural gas. We have a beautiful courtyard for our church community to enjoy. This green space is great for enjoying coffee with friends after church or for quiet reflection and prayer. We even opened this space to our furry friends for the blessing of the animals on the Feast of Saint Francis.
